By default, the WPSSO Strip Schema Microdata (WPSSO SSM) add-on can remove old Schema Microdata and RDFa markup from the webpage. The settings page also allows for the optional removal of duplicate / conflicting Schema markup and meta tags from the webpage head or body sections.
WPSSO SSM filters the webpage dynamically, allowing you to activate or deactivate the add-on to enable or disable the removal of old Schema Microdata, RDFa, and duplicate meta tags. The WPSSO SSM webpage filter is very fast - generally running in under 0.003 seconds.
WPSSO Core Required
WPSSO Strip Schema Microdata (WPSSO SSM) is an add-on for the WPSSO Core plugin, which creates extensive and complete structured data to present your content at its best for social sites and search results – no matter how URLs are shared, reshared, messaged, posted, embedded, or crawled.
Install and Uninstall

Version Numbering
Version components: {major}.{minor}.{bugfix}[-{stage}.{level}]
- {major} = Major structural code changes and/or incompatible API changes (ie. breaking changes).
- {minor} = New functionality was added or improved in a backwards-compatible manner.
- {bugfix} = Backwards-compatible bug fixes or small improvements.
- {stage}.{level} = Pre-production release: dev < a (alpha) < b (beta) < rc (release candidate).

Development Version Updates
WPSSO Core Premium edition customers have access to development, alpha, beta, and release candidate version updates:
Under the SSO > Update Manager settings page, select the "Development and Up" (for example) version filter for the WPSSO Core plugin and/or its add-ons. When new development versions are available, they will automatically appear under your WordPress Dashboard > Updates page. You can reselect the "Stable / Production" version filter at any time to reinstall the latest stable version.
WPSSO Core Standard edition users (ie. the plugin hosted on WordPress.org) have access to the latest development version under the Advanced Options section.

WPSSO gives you the information that you can’t find anywhere else to get your website seen. I was going to switch to a different platform than wordpress but I couldn’t take WPSSO with me so I didn’t. THAT’s how important it is to my business.

This worked great to automatically remove almost 100 invalid microdata markup “hentry” entries from a divi/woocommerce project, bringing the error count to 0 in Google webmaster tools. Previously, I’ve tried other solutions that either didn’t work or only partially fixed the issue.
The WPSSO plugin suite is the best out of many SSO solutions I’ve tried. Thank you!
