Install the WPSSO TIE Add-on

If you purchased the WPSSO Tune WP Image Editors Pro add-on, you received an email with a unique Authentication ID that will be required to install and update the Pro version. The WPSSO TIE Pro add-on uses many WPSSO Core Pro features and requires an active and licensed WPSSO Core Pro plugin. Make sure you have purchased and installed the WPSSO Core Pro plugin before installing the WPSSO TIE Pro add-on. ;-)

WPSSO Core Plugin Prerequisite

WPSSO Tune WP Image Editors (WPSSO TIE) is an add-on for the WPSSO Core plugin — to install and activate the WPSSO TIE add-on, you must already have installed and activated the WPSSO Core plugin. ;-)

Install the Add-on

  1. Go to the admin section of your WordPress site.
  2. Select the SSO menu item.
    • Free version:
      • Select the Add-ons settings page.
      • Scroll down and locate the “WPSSO Tune WP Image Editors” add-on.
    • Pro version:
      • Select the Licenses settings page.
      • Scroll down and locate the “WPSSO Tune WP Image Editors” add-on.
      • After purchasing the WPSSO TIE Pro add-on, you will have received an Authentication ID for WPSSO TIE Pro by email. Enter that Authentication ID in the “WPSSO TIE Authentication ID” input field and save the settings.

All Pro add-ons require an active and licensed WPSSO Core Pro plugin — if the Authentication ID input field is disabled, this indicates that the WPSSO Core Pro plugin needs to be purchased and installed first. ;-)

  3. Click the Plugin Details and Install link.

If the link is named Plugin Details instead (no “Install” in the name) then the add-on is already installed and you can simply activate the add-on from the WordPress Plugins page, or install the Pro version update under the WordPress Dashboard > Updates page (as you would any other plugin update).

  4. After clicking the Plugin Details and Install link, click the Install Now button in the overlay window.
  5. Click the Activate Plugin button when WordPress is done installing the plugin.
  6. You can find the WPSSO TIE settings under the WP Image Editors sub-menu.
